"Tropical Amsterdam" is a story about a community left behind by colonialism in Sri Lanka.

It's a community stuck between staying or leaving, illusion and reality, dancing tango under slow-circling fans, dining on Dutch china with blue windmills next to coconut palms, crazy for spices and tea.

Selected for the "Documentary Campus Masterschool", a EU MEDIA-supported initiative that develops international coproductions.

	THROUGH THE EYES OF A MOTHER (working title) feature documentary - in production human interest A story about two Mexican mothers in Los Angeles whose sons are either in prison or dead, due to gang violence. How does a mother cope with the loss - with pain, anger, and self-doubt? Why did their once innocent and promising young sons got involved in violent gang activity? And how does a mother deal with the fact that her own flesh and blood is a murderer? An inspirational investigation into family dynamics, faith and unbreakable love.
